Stowe School wanted to revamp their alumni magazine. But they were looking for much more than just a design makeover, they wanted to build on their alumni brand and create a platform to meet the demands of their diverse audience of around 10,000 alumni aged from 19 to 90+ based across the globe.
The print magazine remains the focal point but is now reduced in pages and forms part of an integrated platform of digital tools, to create a coherent and immersive reader experience. An online version of the magazine provides greater depth; allowing for more stories, images, longer articles as well as video and audio content across desktop, tablets and mobile. Augmented reality is used to link the print and digital magazines seamlessly, and email marketing pushes content out to readers.
